Do you include aerial shots?
When you hire us, we bring a drone and perform aerial shots at no additional cost, as long as the space, local regulations, weather, and conditions allow us to fly, this provides a unique visual perspective of your wedding story.
How far in advance is it recommended to book?
We recommend booking at least six months in advance to secure availability, although we can also accept last-minute bookings if the date is available.
How many photos will we receive?
Each plan guarantees a minimum number of photos, though we usually deliver double or triple that amount. After careful selection and editing, we provide all the reviewed and edited images in high resolution.

What is Lagus Media's photography style?
We offer a fusion of photographic styles that capture the essence of each moment with distinction. Our approach combines documentary photography to immortalize spontaneous, natural moments without intervention; artistic photography, using unique compositions and lighting techniques to create visually striking images; and a touch of traditional photography, ensuring formal family and group portraits. This mixed approach ensures a complete and memorable visual narrative.
What experience do you have in wedding photography?
We have over a decade of experience in the industry, during which we have documented approximately 40 weddings each year. Each event has allowed us to perfect and evolve. You can explore our blog for an extensive showcase of our work throughout these years.
What equipment do you use?
We exclusively work with the latest generation Sony technology and high-end lenses, ensuring the highest image quality. All our cameras are equipped with dual memory card slots, providing immediate backup to protect every captured image.
Do you cover more than one event per day?
Our commitment is exclusive: we only cover one wedding per date. Lau and Gus will always be present to personally handle every detail, without splitting or subcontracting our work, except for small events where we can collaborate with colleagues upon explicit request.
What plans or service packages do you offer?
When you contact us, you will receive a full brochure with service details and pricing. Each plan is personalized to meet the needs and desires of each client.
Do you offer pre-wedding or post-wedding sessions?
We adapt to all wedding needs, including pre-wedding and post-wedding sessions, depending on what the client desires.
Who handles the video shots if we hire you for video?
Depending on the chosen video package, you may have an additional specialized videographer for the “Dream Trailer.” For the “Emotions Trailer,” Lau and Gus will handle the filming.
Hiring
Can we contact previous clients for references?
We have multiple testimonials on our website and Instagram. Additionally, we can arrange communication with previous clients, and we know they will be happy to share their experiences.
Do you cover weddings outside your hometown?
Our base is in Cali, Colombia. We travel to any destination as needed. In cities like Cartagena and Bogotá, where we also have a presence, we quote with travel fees included and operate as locals.
What happens if Lau and Gus cannot attend the wedding day?
We have committed our schedule, even turning down international travel invitations, to honor each reserved date. In the unlikely event of an emergency, we have a network of highly qualified colleagues to offer replacement alternatives.
How do we make a reservation?
A contract is signed detailing the agreed services. We require a 50% deposit, and the balance is due one week before the wedding. We can adjust the deposit percentages upon request.
Can we modify the schedule or the package after making the reservation?
The conditions for date changes are specified in the contract and depend on the timing and reason. Schedule changes can be coordinated without issue as long as we are notified in advance.
What usage rights do clients have over the photos?
Lau and Gus retain the copyright. We usually request permission to share on social media or publications, although if the client prefers to keep the photos private, we specify that in the contract without additional charges.
Delivery
What system do you use to deliver the photos?
We use a professional platform that allows for quick and efficient photo delivery. It offers options for sharing and searching with artificial intelligence.
What is the delivery time for the images?
By contract, we ask for a maximum of 60 business days for the final delivery, although we usually deliver sooner. The first business day after the wedding, we provide an initial preview, and in some cases, we manage to deliver images on the same day as the wedding.
Do you offer printed albums or additional products?
Yes, we design books and other printed products with partners in Colombia and abroad. Prints can be ordered at any time, and we freeze prices for up to a year after the wedding.
How long do you keep the photos?
The photos are available for immediate download for up to a year after the event. After this time, they can be downloaded in high resolution upon request, with an average wait time of four hours. However, after the official delivery, the client must download and secure them.
How do you deliver the video?
The final video in high resolution is sent via a private cloud and can be easily accessed through a direct link on YouTube. The video is published privately, accessible only through the direct link unless the client requests it to be made public.
